James Dromey

James is the Founder of STEMCareers.com.au, a purpose-driven initiative providing contemporary solutions for the STEM workforce and workplace.

James knows firsthand the excitement and challenges of a career in STEM.


With over 20 years of experience in health and medical research, James has journeyed from a research scientist to holding leadership roles in strategy, operations, innovation and commercialisation.


Along the way, he's been involved in the establishment of multiple health and technology businesses and an early-stage medical research investment fund, all driven by a shared goal of making a positive impact.


James has personally experienced the benefits of career support in his professional journey. He engaged in regular one-on-one coaching sessions with an executive coach over the last 6 years and sought guidance from numerous mentors throughout his career. James is driven by a passion to support others in the field and showcase the wealth of opportunities in STEM available from a career perspective.
